Rob Stevens
Robert Stevens is a BE Accredited Coach and International Event rider, and is based at Field Farm Stud, Minety, near Cirencester.
He has been competing at International level and teaching for over 20 years.
His Previous Achievements include:
- Long listed for the Sydney Olympics
- Being the first Recipient of the Jemima Johnson Memorial Award from British Eventing for the Rider who Best Optimises3 the Sport of Eventing
- Winning Punchestown, Blarney Castle and Wargem CCI’s
- Competing at numerous 4* events, finishing in the points at Burghley and Bleinheim.
- Wins and Top placings from Advanced level CIC’s to Pre Novice too numerous to mention.
Rob trains all levels from Pony Club/Riding club to British Team Members. He is particularly skilled at solving jumping problems and is excellent on flatwork too. His ethos on training is the confidence and enjoyment of both horse and rider is paramount – it‘s meant to be fun, not just hard work!
Rob now trains on a regular basis with esteemed Eventing trainer Dot Willis. He has also recently had some extremely helpful training with Mark Todd, whom he hopes to use a lot more while he is based in the UK, almost in the next village!
He has also benefited from training with British Team Trainers, Yogi Breisner, Lizzie Murray and Tracie Robinson thanks to the 2012 training pathway.
Rob is excited about his string of up and coming young horses, which were produced slowly, winning at the end of last season and have started this season well.
