Bruised Oats
A traditional and one of the most popular grains fed to horses. They can be fed whole, cracked, cut, bruised, or rolled but are rarely Micronised (cooked) because of their very soft kernel so are easier for horses to chew. Oats have a much higher fibre content than other cereals but lower in energy when fed on a weight-for-weight basis.
